Well an new update with some ACTUAL updates
First up sorry about the delay for the new comic, I hit an artist block which prevented me from working….. Buffy be thy name, she's a Vampire slayer. Given the option of being entertained by the writings of Joss Weadon and the amazing portrayal by the various talented actors or sitting in a room and drawing comics I decided to not choose the latter. While I appreciate everyone who does check this site and eagerly come back once in a while to check for updates I recommend watching it over reading my own work since it's awesome.
Now that elaborate excuse is over here's what's new. A few new links have
been added to the links
page, mainly XKCD, Ill will press and Zero Punctuation. This are highly
recommended comics and although they are not to everyone taste the reason
there are there is so I can click one page and have link to all my fav webcomics.
I've also changed a few side images and if the test images work they should
link directly to my newly hostilely taken over DA account. My hope is will
be a preview for works in future but I'm going to see if I can get it working
first without my site saying fuck you and then collapsing in on itself.
I've also received a lovely fan art from when I was feeling blue by a very
good friend called Faye
Yong. Now to say Fae is talented is like saying the ocean is wet, this
girl is down right amazing and is going to achieve great things in the future
so this piece I got from her is going to be treasured for a long time. Now
look at this, isn't it pretty?
The Jiman event- 21-1-2008
Well new update is up and took slightly longer than expected. The main reason being I forgot to update before I left for London on the 18th for the Jiman event. It was interesting to see so much young talent and the bulk of the Manga industry. It was nice to see so many familiar faces as well and seeing that room filled people with an overwhelming urge to try harder for next year. Not me though, I'm just aiming to try so I can be invited back and get free orange juice again..... that's right people, I will produce a 5 page comic for free orange juice, beat that for commission prices!
The maths- 15-1-2008
Well the site is up and as dysfunctional as always but least it loads this side of the millennium. I liked page #114 so much as well I decided to leave it up a little longer.... that and I'm still working on the new page >_<. I like the idea of doing two updates a week but then again I like the idea of anything which doesn't involve me working.
I'm not sure how far other people plan their stories but the overall plot
for duel class was finalized about 2 years ago. I've done 114 pages and
of that overall plot I'm about 2% thought it. In the maths world that means
that the grand total would be about 5700 pages (31 vols) which at my current
speed translates into 54 years. The bottom line of this is I'm freaking
crazy. To keep motivated for that long sounds insane but I have already
come up with safeguards in the story so I could end it at those points,
but for the overall story I planned that means my kids would seem me working
on this when they finish uni. I'm also planning on finding quicker ways
of producing comics, looking for shortcuts and maybe even hiring someone
else to do part if the work. Considering this isn't a full time job and
unlikely to ever become one this sure beats collecting stamps.
The monkeys have escaped! - 5-1-2008
It's unlikely anyone is reading this, but if you are sorry for the slow loading of the site. There seems to be a slight bug where php is concerned and considering half the site is php that means we're looking at 20-30 load times per page. I'm trying to fix the problem now and I swear to god when I find the monkeys responsible for this bug I will beat them with a cane until they cry.
A new year full of dashed dreams ahead!! - 4-1-2008
Well I guess it's a new year again so hurrah to all and hope this is the year where we finally get the fucking flying cars, I want my Hoverboard god damn it or I'll be too old to use one soon. Although I have managed to keep updating the comic I seem to lack the time or patience to actually write any posts, so I thought I'd reflect on what the year holds ahead.
There are lot of things planned for this year like friends weddings, Anime cons and general annual events but in the grand scheme of things not much is really planned for this year. That's not to say this year isn't going to be awesome, I just have nothing planned for it. Life's funny in the way that sometimes things that you want come true and then you realize how much they suck. On the other end of the scale things you wouldn't know about or expect can bring you great joy you never planned for. In the rarer cases what you hope for comes true and then it's as awesome as you thought it would be. In the most disappointing aspect you lose something and never realize just how much it meant until it's actually gone. All this factors happen on a daily basis and we have a fresh year of them all….. well unless Umbrella creates the T-virus, it somehow breaks containment and then everyone you ever knew and loved starts hunting you down in the aim of eating you alive, in that case despite what Hollywood tells you, you're fucked.
Speaking of plans, my current plan is still to do 2 comic pages a week; at that count I should have 104 by the end of the year assuming my math is right. However looking at that total that's not even half of what I want but still 104 more than what I'm willing to actually work for. I still want to get some form of advertisement out there and still have time draw comics. Currently my life is filled with work, spending time with friends, eating, sleeping, watching TV and playing video games. If I want to keeping doing comics one of those has got to go……. I thinking sleep since the rest are essential .

Well things leading up the Christmas are a bit busy but remember there is always light at the end of a tunnel!...... normally a Train…… you should probably move as well. Anyway the comic is still on-going for now with pages being slowly drafted. Just to let people know as well there is going to be a new store opening but the friendly people at Tokyotoys more information HERE, so pop by and buy pretty pretty models from them if you get the chance!
Back at Last! - 09-12-2007
Welcome!
Well it took far longer than I ever expected but I'm glad to say the site is finally back up and running. I certainly hope this site is easy to navigate and that you like it because this is no way in hell I am changing it again now for a long time. There has been comics, story and characters development done over the last year so hopefully the only thing I have to do now is draw the damn things hope you enjoy what's to come.
I guess first up thanks to everyone who still checks the site, I know it's been a long time without any new content but hopefully that will all change now. To everyone who has never visited this site before feel free to catch up on the Downloads page where you can download everyone up so far up have a look through the comic section in all its pretty glory. As you can probably see the links have made a huge impact on every page, but you've linked to me I'll be happy to return the favor.
I guess non comic wise things are still good, I switched jobs twice since the hiatus and still reading the same webcomics as always. I haven't played as many games over the last year or seen as much anime as I wanted but finally escaped the grasp of WoW so free time has been in abundance since then. I'm still a member of Sweatdrop and things have really kicked off this year with new content and podcasts to let people know what's going on the scene.
The comics should hopefully be going up either every Monday and Friday or just two comics on Monday if the story calls for more than one page. Thanks again for visiting and I better get back to work.
